Ann Edwards is the Technical Assistance Lead for the Pacific Subregion of the WEEAC and a subject matter expert in mathematics education. Edwards is the Senior Director of Mathematics at WestEd and brings over 30 years of experience in mathematics education research, policy, and practice, including technical assistance and professional development supporting culturally responsive curriculum development and equitable instructional practices in mathematics. She has also provided support to jurisdictions in the Pacific to develop courses and instructional models that improve secondary mathematics experiences and outcomes. Edwards holds a B.A. in Applied Mathematics from Harvard University, and a M.A. and Ph.D. in Education in Mathematics, Science, and Technology from University of California, Berkeley.
