The regional Equity Assistance Centers, authorized under Title IV of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, are one of the U.S Department of Education’s longest-standing investments in technical assistance. We’re pleased to share that the Western Educational Equity Assistance Center (WEEAC) has been reinstated to continue supporting schools, districts, and state education agencies in building and sustaining the conditions in which every student can learn, develop, and thrive, for all students across 16 western states and territories.

Education leaders in the WEEAC region are invited to connect with us through several upcoming opportunities:

  • Reintroduction Webinar—January 13, 2026: Meet our team, learn about our current work, and share your priorities related to student learning and development. Register Now.
  • 2026 School Climate Data Use Peer Collaborative for Local Educational Agencies (LEAs): Join a small cohort of districts to strengthen connections and engagement in schools through meaningful data use. Click here to learn more.
  • 2026 Success for All Peer Collaborative for State Educational Agencies (SEAs): Explore how SEAs can create the conditions that promote equity and academic excellence for all students. Email Us at [email protected] to learn more.

We look forward to partnering with you to support the success of every learner. Please subscribe to our newsletter to receive updates about future events and opportunities.
