Given the sharp increase in chronic absence rates during the pandemic, schools must take a team approach to addressing attendance. Individuals alone are not sufficient. This session focuses on the essential functions and tools for teams to identify the patterns of inequity, understand the assets and barriers for each student group, and select culturally appropriate, evidence-based strategies.
